The Australian New Zealand Standard AS/NZS 3760:2022 is the nationally accepted standards for safety inspection and testing of electrical equipment in the workplace.
This Standard specifies the policies and procedures for safety inspection of all ‘plug in’ electrical devices and appliances. It also includes all items connected to an electrical supply via a flexi cord (eg tool battery charger)
This standard is for all devices and appliances, new or old, existing or refurbished, serviced or repaired.

The Australian Standard AS 1851:2012 is the national standard for inspection and testing of Fire Prevention Equipment. (R) Routine Level includes basic inspection and testing (C) Complex Level includes a more thorough approach to inspections of Fire Prevention Equipment.
